Pro Peak Sports, a family business strives to provide Valley County with “service and selection beyond expectation”. During the summer months Pro Peak Sports is providing a myriad of products and services for the outdoor enthusiast. 

We offer wakeboard and water ski instructional excursions on the beautiful Lake Cascade.  As a preferred partner with Tamarack Resort we are located on the docks at Tamarack’s Lakeside facility.  Our trips range from 15 minute intense instructional lessons to full day trips that include time for swimming, lake exploration, and of course skiing and wakeboarding, as well as a picnic lunch.  All of our boat drivers and instructors are USA Water Ski certified and are trained to provide the highest level of guest service and will make sure that your time with us is unforgettable and pleasant.  We provide wetsuits and all equipment you will need for a great day out on the water.  All of our equipment is top quality.  Our Tournament Class Malibu boat, includes a hot water shower, heated cockpit, towel warmer, ballast tanks, and a wedge to create the perfect wake, whether wakeboarding, water skiing, or even surfing.  All of our wakeboards are top quality boards.  These are not rental boards; these are top of the line retail quality boards.  We have an extensive collection of skis for all shapes and sizes to make learning and progressing easier than you ever imagined.  At Pro Peak Sports we love kids and have children’s specific equipment available to teach kids as young as 5 how to wakeboard or water ski.  Booking with Pro Peak Sports is a breeze.  You can either book a reservation on-line at www.propeaksports.com or call us at 208-325-3323.  You can also book dockside at Tamarack Resort, or at the Tamarack Sports Desk located in Discovery Square. 

We are also proud to provide the area with a full service rental/retail store offering great water sport equipment and summer clothing.  We have a shop full of swimsuits and board shorts for the whole family as well as casual clothing and footwear.  We also rent and sell wakeboards, water skis, and related equipment.  This summer brings the addition of a full-service bicycle shop offering the professionalism and knowledge you expect.  We sell, rent and repair bikes as well as offer a full complement of accessories and clothing.

During the winter Pro Peak Sports is proud to offer “service and selection beyond expectation” in our full service ski and snowboard retail and rental shop located at 412 W. Roseberry Rd. in Donnelly.  Our brand new 3000 sq. ft. purpose built shop houses an incredible selection of equipment and clothing.  We are focusing intensely on providing women and children a large selection of clothing, equipment, and accessories.  Our extensive women’s collection includes not only beautiful clothing and accessories, but just as important, all of our clothing is functional.  There isn’t much point in looking good if you are cold and wet.  With a large collection of clothing including Obermeyer, Cold as Ice, and Mountain Hardwear, any women is sure to find something to tickle their fancy.  The focus on women continues into our equipment.  Women’s bodies are different from men’s and at Pro Peak Sports our goal is to help you ski or snowboard better with less effort.  We carry women’s specific rental equipment including boots and snowboards from Salomon, Fischer and Burton.  We also have an extensive inventory of women’s specific skis and boots available for retail from Lange, Fischer, and Salomon. 

 We can’t say enough about how much we love kids at Pro Peak Sports.  A cold child can ruin a great day on the slopes in a hurry.  We understand kids and carry a full line of Obermeyer and Couloir clothing to make sure that not only looks great, but is very warm and waterproof.  We also carry top of the line junior skis and snowboards in our rental fleet to help the little guys rip it up easier.  For the guys in the family we are proud to offer a wide selection of clothing from Obermeyer and Mountain Hardwear.  Whether you spend your time in the backcountry or in the park and pipe we have clothing that fits your style.  We carry a large selection of skis from Fischer and Salomon.  We have twin tips for the jibbers and backcountry powder boards for the purist.  We also rent telemark equipment.  All of Pro Peak Sports equipment is brand new and top of the line.  Can’t find what you need at our shop?  We doubt it will happen, but if it does we suggest you check out our online sales channel www.propeakonline.com.  We work with several retailers from across the country to provide what we think is the one of the largest selections of equipment found anywhere.

We all know that ski boots are uncomfortable right?  Well, they don’t have to be any more.  Pro Peak Sports has invested heavily in custom bootfitting.  We guarantee warm, comfortable boots.  We build custom footbeds and can also align the boots so that your knees no longer hurt.  Poorly tuned equipment can make improving your skiing or snowboarding difficult.  Utilizing top of the line stone grinders and edging machines from Grindrite Pro Peak Sports can keep your equipment in great shape. 

Pro Peak Sports has embraced technology and is always striving to create the best customer experience possible.  Reservations can be made via our website, by fax, phone, or even good old US mail.  Once your information is in out database and you have rented from us before, we will even deliver your equipment to your accommodations in McCall, Donnelly, or Tamarack.  Don’t like to wait in line?  Of course not, so Pro Peak Sports has installed self serve kiosks as well as personal staff to expedite your trip through the shop so that you can get out on the slopes sooner to enjoy your day. 

Pro Peak Sports is building upon more than 30 years of experience in the ski business.  Wolfe Ashcraft’s family has owned and operated a multitude of ski and snowboard shops in New Mexico for more than 30 years.  Wolfe grew up working in the shops as well as being a nationally ranked ski racer as a kid.  Most recently he spent 7 years as the director of the children’s ski and snowboard school at Angel Fire Resort where his duties included managing a retail shop and rental shop serving more than 8000 kids a season.  Wolfe also has his MBA in marketing and entrepreneurship with a focus on customer retention.  Julie Ashcraft is in charge of style for Pro Peak Sports.  With a degree in fashion merchandising and a natural born shopper she makes sure that what we carry is what people want.  She is also a level II PSIA certified ski instructor with 9 years as a children’s ski and snowboard school supervisor.  Pro Peak Sports is truly a family business.  Our two daughters Stokli and Osha will often be found out on the boat with us or in the shop and we hope that you to will bring your family in to visit.
